Our Purpose

To celebrate the diverse knowledge and experience on our estate and work with individual residents, local organisations and broader networks to produce research that helps our community respond collectively to common challenges.

Community

Our residents are training as community-based researchers and developing a programme of research to map our community, understand our different experiences, needs and priorities and collectively make change.

Food

We are mapping our local food system to work out how to make it more effective, inclusive and sustainable.

Nature

We are working with local parks and green spaces to understand how they are used by residents and how they can be improved to.

Housing

We’re documenting residents’ experiences of different social housing and connecting to local/national housing campaigns.

Migration

We are mapping the diverse migration experiences in our community and working with advice services to explore how they can improve support.

Care

We are working towards a better understanding of social care systems (formal/informal, paid/unpaid) and exploring the needs and priorities of carers and care recipients.
